Grand Slam Walk 2018

Join Us for the First Grand Slam Walk 2018

Grand Slam Walk 2018 - Malahide RFC To Greystones RFC in aid of the IRFU Charitable Trust Fund 26th August starting at 6 am

Why We Are Doing This?

This is the first time we have ever done something like this but we think it's for a wonderful charity. Sometimes there are accidents on the rugby field and it's nice to know there is support for you if it did happen.

The IRFU Charitable Trust

Since 1978, The IRFU Charitable Trust has worked tirelessly to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives.

Massive Thanks to Greystones RFC

We are delighted that we have teamed up with Greystones on this historic day. As rugby players/clubs go we are all one big rugby family.

Why is the IRFU Charitable Trust so important?

The Irish Rugby Football Union Charitable Trust was formed in 1978 to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives and help to restore their confidence and independence.

There are currently 34 seriously injured players registered with the Charitable Trust in Ireland, most of whom are wheelchair bound and have some form of permanent paralysis.
